We Design Value: We work with our clients to successfully reposition their existing multi-family housing portfolios through systematic value-add opportunities.  The scope of work within individual units and across properties is never the same; value can be added by increasing the bedroom count, adding a bathroom, splitting units, or creating a co-living scenario within an existing unit.  The evolving scopes require a comprehensive understanding of building and zoning codes to identify what is possible, and an in-depth knowledge of building systems to determine the latent effects of a unit remodel on outdated systems.  With hundreds of units completed or in design, K2A is able to determine the best allowable use, coordinate with other disciplines as needed, and permit the scope of work to maximize the return on existing real estate assets. 

We Value Design: Interior design trends change on a regular basis; however, the feel of a unit layout, the efficient use of space, and the functionality of each room stands against a much longer test of time.  With a narrow scope and limited space, the design of an individual unit remodel takes on greater importance.  By thoroughly analyzing the potential of each room, through an iterative and relentless process, we are able to leverage our knowledge to design clean and modern units which maximize the potential of each space.
